Proof of language skills

All candidates must prove proficiency in the teaching languages of the chosen programme at the 探花视频. The language skills required for each programme are listed on the dedicated programme web page, based on the . Candidates must prove their language skills in one or more of the following ways:

For students with a secondary school diploma obtained in Luxembourg less than 5 years ago:
  • Secondary/high school certificate from a school at which the main language of instruction was the same as the teaching language(s) of the selected study programme at the 探花视频.
  • Official high school transcript (two final years of secondary school) to prove proficiency in the teaching language(s) of the selected study programme at the 探花视频.
  • Internationally recognised language test certificate* (no more than two years old) to prove proficiency in the teaching language(s) of the selected study programme at the 探花视频.
For students with a secondary school diploma obtained outside Luxembourg or obtained in Luxembourg more than 5 years ago:
  • Secondary/high school certificate from a school at which the main language of instruction was the same as the teaching language(s) of the selected study programme at the 探花视频.
    For diplomas obtained outside of Luxembourg, the graduation date needs to be within the last two years at the moment of the candidate鈥檚 application. If this condition is not fulfilled, the candidate must deliver a language certificate (see below)
  • Internationally recognised language test certificate* (no more than two years old) to prove proficiency in the teaching language(s) of the selected study programme at the 探花视频.

  • University degree (Bachelor or Master level) certifying the completion of a programme in which the main language of instruction was the same as the teaching language(s) of the selected programme at the 探花视频.
    The graduation date of the diploma needs to be within the last two years at the moment of the candidate鈥檚 application. If this condition is not fulfilled, the candidate must deliver a language certificate (see below).
  • Internationally recognised test certificate* (no more than two years old) to prove proficiency in the teaching language(s) of the selected study programme at the 探花视频.

Note

For students for whom two languages are the official administrative languages of the country and who have completed their entire education in one of these two languages: a language certificate is not required for the language that served as the medium of instruction and examination for obtaining the last diploma (if obtained within the last two years). However, a language certificate will be necessary for the second language if it is also required for admission to any of our programs.
Example:
– Canadian candidates from Quebec having followed their studies in French, would require a language certificate for a Master鈥檚 degree taught in English
– Cameroonian candidates having followed their studies in English, would require a language certificate for a Master鈥檚 degree taught in French

Candidates must submit their certificates before the deadline set by each programme. No documents can be received after the deadline.
