LUCET鈥檚 most prominent and resource-intensive commissioned research is the implementation, enhancement and assurance of the Luxembourg school monitoring programme 脡preuves Standardis茅es (), which aims at facilitating evidence-based decision making in national education. Through the 脡辫厂迟补苍, LUCET is not only providing timely and policy-relevant information to national educational stakeholders, but also assembling a unique and incredibly rich longitudinal database鈥攑anels are actually entire cohorts鈥攁bout the evolution of students鈥 competency profiles and their pathways through school鈥攁nd possibly through life. Additional mission-oriented research and assessment projects include national analyses and reporting of international large-scale studies (e.g., ), (large-scale) cognitive and language testing, university admissions testing and student course evaluations. Many of the aforementioned鈥攑artially high-stakes鈥攁ssessments are completely computer鈥 and web鈥恇ased鈥攗sing LUCET鈥檚 in-house online assessment system OASYS. In addition to the centre鈥檚 commissioned research in the area of educational measurement, LUCET is also in charge of the coordination, facilitation and dissemination of nationally embedded educational research at the 探花视频.
